Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our dynamic team at ALDI. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining the store's operations, including merchandising, cashiering, and ensuring a clean and organized environment for our customers. Working collaboratively with the ALDI team, you will provide exceptional customer service and contribute to a positive shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) in daily tasks.
• Perform cashier duties, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Assist customers with their shopping experience and provide top-notch service.
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and store operations.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
• Follow cash handling procedures and company policies diligently.
• Adhere to security and confidentiality protocols.
• Execute other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older to work at ALDI.
• Proficient in providing prompt and courteous customer service.
• Skilled in operating a cash register and store equipment.
• Capable of meeting physical demands of the role.
• Possess excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• High attention to detail and ability to multitask efficiently.
• Compliance with state and local regulations on alcohol sales.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is an advantage.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience is valued.
