Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our ALDI team. As a crucial part of the store operations, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining cleanliness to ensure a superior shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $19.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Execute tasks according to ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain clean store premises, and organize shelves
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers during their visit
• Communicate effectively with team members and management
• Give feedback on products, inventory, and other store-related issues
• Participate in store inventory counts and uphold cash handling policies
• Adhere to company protocols with respect to data security and document confidentiality
• Perform additional tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
• Proficiency in operating a cash register and store equipment
• Experience in retail operations is advantageous
• Excellent communication skills, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
