Job Description
We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer shopping experience by maintaining product displays, providing exceptional service, and ensuring the store is clean and organized. This full-time position offers 32-40 hours per week with a starting wage of $17.50 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills guidelines.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management.
- Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and any store issues.
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
- Adhere to cash policies, minimize losses, and follow company procedures.
- Perform general cleaning duties to maintain store standards.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficiently operate a cash register and store equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and adhere to company policies.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
- Ability to stay organized, detail-oriented, and multitask effectively.
- Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail work experience is a plus.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable.
