Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our store operates smoothly and our customers receive exceptional service. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management.
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any issues.
• Participate in store inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
• Adhere to cash policies, company procedures, and security measures.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
• Knowledge of company policies and procedures.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
• Compliance with state and local regulations for handling alcohol sales.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail work experience is a plus.
