Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in maintaining the store's appearance, assisting customers, and collaborating with the ALDI team to ensure a great shopping experience.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
• Participate in inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash policies to minimize losses
• Follow company policies and procedures while maintaining document security

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to provide courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of cash register and equipment
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience preferred
