Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store is well-maintained, stock levels are managed efficiently, and every customer receives exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise
• Provide top-notch customer service and assist shoppers
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly with management
• Participate in inventory management and monitoring accuracy
• Follow cash-handling policies to minimize losses

Physical Demands

Stock merchandise, perform general cleaning tasks, and handle equipment as required

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Proficient in customer service and cash register operation
• Able to operate store equipment safely
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales

Education and Experience

High School Diploma preferred, retail experience advantageous
