Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at ALDI. As a vital part of our store operations, you will handle merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and ensuring the store's cleanliness to create an exceptional shopping environment for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills in daily tasks.
  • Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service, assisting shoppers throughout their visit.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly with management.
  • Monitor inventory accuracy, follow cash policies, and uphold company procedures for security.
  • Perform store inventory counts and complete assigned tasks diligently.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Excellent customer service and cashiering skills.
  • Proficient in operating store equipment and following cleaning standards.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking efficiently.
  • Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol handling and sales.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior retail experience is a plus.
