Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join the ALDI team. As a Store Associate, your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. You will collaborate with team members and management to uphold ALDI's high standards and deliver outstanding customer service.

Position Type:

Full-Time

Average Hours:

32-40 hours per week

Starting Wage:

$16.50 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
• Communicate effectively with the team and management
• Participate in inventory counts and maintain accuracy
• Follow cash policies, company procedures, and uphold security standards

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient cash handling skills
• Aptitude to operate equipment and perform cleaning tasks
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
• Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking
• Meet state and local requirements for selling alcoholic beverages

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
• Combination of education and experience is acceptable
