Store Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our team at Aldi. As a key member of our store, you will be responsible for various tasks including merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining the store's appearance. Your role will involve providing exceptional customer service and working collaboratively with the ALDI team to ensure a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with store management.
• Offer feedback to management on products, inventory, and any issues.
• Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and minimize losses.
• Follow company policies and procedures while maintaining document security and confidentiality.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficiently operate a cash register and store equipment.
• Execute general cleaning tasks to company standards.
• Interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Work independently and within a team environment.
• Stay organized, detail-oriented, follow instructions, and multitask efficiently.
• Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience preferred.
• A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
