Job Description

As a Store Team Member at Aldi, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the store's appearance, interacting with customers, and contributing to a positive shopping experience. From stocking shelves to cashiering, you will work collaboratively with the Aldi team to deliver exceptional customer service.

Position Details

  • Position Type: Full-Time
  • Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
  • Starting Wage: $16.50 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
  • Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise
  • Provide top-notch customer service and assist shoppers
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management
  • Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
  • Contribute to inventory management and adhere to cash handling policies
  • Adhere to company policies, maintain confidentiality, and uphold security measures
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Ability to operate a cash register and store equipment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • High school diploma preferred
  • Prior retail experience is advantageous
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a team
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
