Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our ALDI family. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring the store's success by handling various tasks such as merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining cleanliness. By providing exceptional customer service and collaborating with team members, you will contribute to creating a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases and maintain store cleanliness
• Stock shelves and merchandise displays accurately
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
• Communicate effectively with team members and management
• Contribute to inventory management and accuracy
• Adhere to cash policies to minimize losses
• Follow company policies and procedures while ensuring security and confidentiality

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of a cash register
• Safely operate equipment and perform general cleaning duties
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
• Combination of education and experience equivalent
