Store Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Team Member to join our ALDI team. As a Store Associate, you will play a critical role in creating an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, cleaning, and providing top-notch customer service.

Position Details

• Job Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Deliver exceptional customer service and assist customers with their shopping experience
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and any issues
• Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses
• Follow company policies, uphold security, and maintain confidentiality
• Perform other assigned duties

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of a cash register
• Safely operate equipment and perform cleaning duties
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Stay organized, detail-oriented, and follow instructions efficiently
• Meet all state and local requirements related to handling and selling alcoholic beverages

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail work experience is a plus
