Store Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join ALDI, a leading retail company. As a Store Team Member, you will play a key role in maintaining the store's appearance, providing top-notch customer service, and working collaboratively with the ALDI team. This is a full-time position with an average of 32-40 hours per week and a starting wage of $18.50 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with their shopping needs
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
• Give feedback on products, inventory, and store issues
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash policies and company procedures
• Follow company policies, maintain document security, and uphold confidentiality

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment
• Perform general cleaning duties to company standards
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
• Meet state and local requirements for selling alcoholic beverages

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
• Equivalent combination of education and experience
