Store Team Member

Job Description

Join our team as a Store Team Member at ALDI, responsible for various in-store tasks. Your role includes merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness. By working collaboratively with the ALDI team, you will ensure an exceptional customer shopping experience.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
• Participate in inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash policies, company procedures, and ensure document security
• Perform physical tasks like stocking merchandise and lifting up to 45 pounds

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
• High school diploma preferred, with prior retail experience a plus
