Store Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our ALDI team. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring that our store maintains a clean and organized appearance while delivering exceptional customer service. This full-time position offers an average of 32-40 hours per week with a starting wage of $17.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ACTs Competencies, and Professional Skills.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves neatly, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate feedback to management.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy in store inventory.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures.
• Follow company guidelines to ensure security and confidentiality of documents.
• Perform assigned tasks as required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old or above.
• Ability to offer courteous and prompt customer service.
• Efficient and accurate operation of a cash register.
• Safe operation of equipment like hand jacks and floor scrubbers.
• Capability to maintain cleanliness per company standards.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively.
• Meet all state and local requirements for handling alcohol sales.
