Store Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining the store's appearance to provide customers with an exceptional shopping experience.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $16.50 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's M.A.P. principles in all interactions
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize shelves
• Deliver outstanding customer service and assist shoppers
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
• Monitor inventory accuracy and other store operations
• Follow cash handling policies and company procedures
• Adhere to all company guidelines and ensure document security
• Perform additional tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to provide excellent customer service
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment
• Adherence to cleaning standards and company policies
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Work effectively in a team setting
• Meet all state and local alcohol sales requirements

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
• Combination of education and experience is acceptable
