Job Description

We are looking for a diligent Store Team Member to join our ALDI family. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in keeping our store organized, stocked, and well-maintained. Your responsibilities will include cashiering, merchandising, and providing top-notch customer service to enhance the shopping experience.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and ensure orderly product displays.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and assist shoppers effectively.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate efficiently with management.
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
• Participate in store inventory counts and maintain accurate records.
• Adhere to cash handling policies to prevent losses.
• Follow company policies and procedures to protect data and documents.
• Perform other assigned duties.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18.
• Proficient in providing courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register.
• Safe use of equipment like hand jacks and floor scrubbers.
• Ability to maintain cleanliness according to company standards.
• Strong communication skills and a teamwork mindset.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking.
• Compliance with state regulations for alcohol sales.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail experience is a plus.
• Combination of education and experience will be considered.
