Store Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our ALDI team. As a key contributor, you will handle various tasks such as merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's appearance. By providing outstanding customer service and working collaboratively with your team, you will create a positive shopping environment for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Perform cashiering, product stocking, and general cleaning duties.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and assist shoppers throughout their visit.
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational matters.
• Follow cash management procedures to ensure store security.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures to maintain a safe and confidential work environment.
• Participate in inventory counting activities as required.
• Handle physical tasks such as lifting and moving merchandise.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Capable of providing efficient and courteous customer service.
• Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment.
• Able to maintain cleanliness and organization per company standards.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team setting.
• Demonstrate attention to detail, organization, and multitasking abilities.
• Meet any licensing requirements for alcohol sales.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail experience is a plus.
• Combination of education and experience providing relevant knowledge.
