Store Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our ALDI store. As a vital part of our team, your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to ensure a top-notch shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour

Roles and Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's core competencies and professional skills as per guidelines.
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and stock shelves neatly.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers effectively.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate with store management.
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to management.
• Participate in store inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling procedures and company policies.
• Maintain document security and confidentiality.
• Perform any other assigned duties.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask.
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
• Combination of education and experience is acceptable.
