Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our ALDI family. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring our store maintains a welcoming environment by assisting with merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining cleanliness. Your commitment to providing exceptional customer service and collaborating with the team will contribute to an outstanding shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize product displays.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with their shopping needs.
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and store operations.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash policies and company procedures.
• Follow company policies while maintaining document security and confidentiality.
• Perform other assigned duties as required.

Physical Demands

• Stock merchandise and lift up to 45 pounds.
• Engage in various physical activities within the store environment.
• Ability to work with or without reasonable accommodation.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Possess strong customer service and cashiering skills.
• Operate equipment such as a cash register, floor scrubber, and hand jack efficiently.
• Maintain store cleanliness to company standards.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Demonstrate organization, attention to detail, and multitasking skills.
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma preferred.
• Prior retail experience is beneficial.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
