Store Team Member

Job Description

We are currently looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the store by merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. You will collaborate with the Aldi team to provide exceptional customer service and enhance the overall shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills required for the role.
• Process customer purchases, maintain clean store premises, and neatly arrange product displays.
• Assist customers with their shopping needs and provide top-notch customer service.
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
• Offer feedback on products, inventory management, and any issues to management.
• Participate in store inventory counts as per guidelines and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Follow cash handling policies and procedures to prevent losses.
• Adhere to company policies, maintain document security, and uphold confidentiality.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register.
• Safe and proper use of equipment.
• Adherence to cleaning standards and company procedures.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Capability to work independently and within a team.
• Organized and detail-oriented with multitasking skills.
• Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail work experience is advantageous.
• Combination of education and experience equivalent to the job requirements.
