Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our ALDI team. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring the store's success by merchandising products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and inviting store environment. By providing exceptional customer service and working collaboratively with your team, you will contribute to enhancing the overall shopping experience.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
- Conduct inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy
- Adhere to cash handling policies and procedures
- Follow company policies and maintain document security
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to provide excellent customer service
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment
- Perform general cleaning tasks to company standards
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
- Meet state and local requirements for selling alcoholic beverages
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail work experience preferred
