Store Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our ALDI team. As a key member of our retail store, you will be responsible for various tasks including merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and ensuring a clean and welcoming store environment. By providing exceptional customer service and working collaboratively with team members, you will contribute to enhancing the overall shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

• Job Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $18.50 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Assist customers with their shopping needs and provide exceptional service
• Stock shelves, maintain displays, and keep the store organized
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
• Follow cash handling procedures and minimize losses
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
• Participate in inventory management and accuracy
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain store standards

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to operate equipment and handle tasks efficiently
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
