Job Description

We are looking for a Store Team Member to join our ALDI team. As a Store Team Member, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, stocking merchandise, cashiering, and maintaining the overall cleanliness and organization of the store. Your contribution will enhance the shopping experience for our customers while collaborating with the store team.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers with their needs
• Communicate effectively with team members and management
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash policies and minimize losses
• Follow company policies and procedures to uphold security and confidentiality standards
• Perform other assigned duties as necessary

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to provide courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of a cash register
• Safely operate store equipment
• Maintain cleanliness to company standards
• Excellent communication skills
• Work well both independently and in a team environment
• Stay organized, detail-oriented, and multitask efficiently
• Meet requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages
