Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our dynamic team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining the store's appearance to provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

• Job Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies and Professional Skills
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize product displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
• Participate in inventory counts and follow cash handling procedures
• Adhere to company policies, maintain document security, and uphold confidentiality
• Perform additional tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Prompt and courteous customer service skills
• Efficient operation of cash registers and store equipment
• Ability to follow cleaning standards and company policies
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
• Organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Retail experience is a plus
• A combination of education and experience is welcome
