VP, Late Development Team Lead, Oncology

Job Description

We are looking for a VP, Late Development Team Lead specializing in Oncology to join our global biopharmaceutical company, Jazz Pharmaceuticals. As the Late Development Team Lead, you will play a vital role in driving the late-stage product lifecycle strategy, integrating scientific, clinical, regulatory, and commercial aspects to ensure successful product development and approval. This position requires exceptional cross-functional leadership skills, a deep scientific understanding, and experience in managing complex drug development projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead one or more cross-functional Late Development Teams to execute product strategies from proof of concept to approval.
• Establish a vision and strategy for products, optimizing patient value through risk assessment, timelines, and revenue considerations.
• Develop global Integrated Product Development Plans and oversee regulatory filings.
• Provide strategic guidance to functional teams and ensure efficient team collaboration.
• Mentor team members, set performance expectations, and manage project budgets and timelines.

Requirements

• 15+ years of global drug development experience in the pharma/biotech industry.
• Proven track record in late-stage drug development leadership.
• Experience in oncology drug development and regulatory submissions.
• Strong communication and leadership skills in a cross-functional environment.
• Advanced degree (MD, PhD, PharmD) required.
