Jazz Pharmaceuticals is looking for a VP, Late Development Team Lead to play a crucial role in leading the Late Development Team in shaping and executing global product strategies for late-stage development in oncology. The ideal candidate will possess strong cross-functional leadership skills and a deep understanding of late-stage drug development processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional Late Development Teams in product strategy and execution from POC to approval.
• Develop a vision and strategy aligned with Jazz's mission and approach for the product.
• Collaborate with functional heads to ensure necessary resources are available for product development.
• Provide strategic guidance and support to LDT functional matrix teams.
• Mentor team members, challenge strategies, and facilitate decision-making processes.
• Collaborate with external partners and key stakeholders for effective product development.

Required Qualifications

• 15+ years of global multi-disciplinary drug development experience in the pharma/biotech industry.
• Proven success in leading strategic multi-functional environments and delivering results through matrix teams.
• Experience in late-phase Solid Tumor Oncology drug development and regulatory submissions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make timely, objective decisions.
• Demonstrated leadership in diversity and inclusion initiatives.

Education and Licenses

• Advanced degree (MD, PhD, PharmD) required.
